The ongoing geopolitical crisis in Eastern Europe, and the current ostracization of Russia by the West, presents an opportunity for Canada to develop its Arctic energy resources and replace Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the region with LNG produced and shipped from Canada’s North, says Ron Wallace, fellow with the Canadian Global Affairs Institute (CGAI).
