Canada’s Licence Count Sinks Again In May; B.C. Only Bright Spot
Operators licensed 137 new wells across the country last month, down 82 per cent from 743 wells granted authorization in May 2019, with permitting down in all four western provinces except British Columbia on the strength of new gas well authorizations.
