Production Growth, Less Domestic Demand Contribute To U.S. Becoming Net Energy Exporter In 2020: EIA

The United States becomes a net energy exporter in 2020 and remains so through 2050 as a result of large increases in crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas plant liquids (NGPL) production coupled with slow growth in U.S. energy consumption, says the Energy Information Agency (EIA) in its Annual Energy Outlook 2019 (AEO2019) released this morning.
