Oil Price To Average $55 Per Bbl In 2017: CBOC; Price Can’t Maintain Growth Engine: Hirsch

The Conference Board of Canada (CBOC) forecasts oil prices to average about $55 per bbl this year, increasing to $60 per bbl in 2019, constrained from going any higher in that timeframe due to operators’ ability to rapidly produce U.S. shale oil much more cost-effectively compared to before the downturn.
