What Does 2017 Have In Store For Canada’s Oil And Gas Industry?

The last year has been full of challenges for Canada’s petroleum sector: rampant supply, weak global demand, cut capital expenditures, postponed projects, increased cost reduction pressures, layoffs, changing political climates and increasing concern over climate change and environmental impact.

As the final quarter draws near, we start to look towards 2017. With no foreseeable oil price recovery in the near future, how do companies plan on cutting costs and raising capital? What are their plans for growth, workforce planning and market access? What role does/should the government play? These are all questions stakeholders across industry want answered.

JWN is conducting a 2017 Oil and Gas Industry Outlook survey to do just that. Results will be published in the January issue of Oilweek, and Q1 issue of Oilsands Review. Articles based on survey findings will also be featured in the Daily Oil Bulletin and posted on jwnenergy.com.

Survey participants will be entered to win a $500 VISA gift card.
