Daily Infographic: Saskatchewan Oil, Gas Revenue Outlook Lowered

As part of its 2015/16 Q3 fiscal update on Monday, the Saskatchewan government lowered its forecast for oil revenue for the fiscal year that ends March 31, 2016 to $554.8 million, nearly half the original budget projection of $902.7 million. The forecast for land sale revenue is still well off the budget, but was raised by about $4 million from the mid-year projection. Natural gas revenue of $10.5 million was forecast, down from $13.3 million at the mid-year projection and the originally-budgeted $11.3 million.
