Alberta’s oil and gas regulator is playing an important role in helping regulatory bodies in Mexico adjust to an oil and gas industry that will no longer be dominated by state-owned Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), which should help make it easier for Canadian-based energy producers, service companies, midstream firms and others to operate there, says the head of the regulator.
