New Daily Oil Bulletin Digital Magazine Examines The Duvernay

The Daily Oil Bulletin has launched a new digital-only magazine focused on Alberta’s Duvernay shale play.

Several topics are examined including: the Duvernay’s geological composition; drilling techniques being employed; infrastructure needs; potential regulatory issues arising from increased activity; the outlook for more mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures; and the opportunities -- and challenges -- for service companies as activity rises.

In addition to the written articles, editorial coverage in this digital magazine is enhanced by exclusive video interviews, graphics and special slide shows.

The magazine can be accessed here. If you’re on a desktop computer, click on the cover icon to open the magazine. If you’re viewing on a tablet, tap on the cover icon.

In addition, the DOB is hosting a sold-out Speaker Series breakfast event on Feb. 26 at the Calgary Petroleum Club, sponsored by NCS Oilfield Services. A representative of Calfrac Well Services Ltd. will discuss the growing demands on the service sector to help develop the Duvernay.

The Bulletin will have editorial coverage the following day from the event.
