Source Energy Services Ltd. is currently working with Canadian National Railway Company to minimize the potential for future service interruptions following a series of rail delays in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin during the third quarter.
InPlay Oil Corp. said that subsequent to the end of the quarter it increased its 100 per cent owned Crown land position in the Huxley area of the East Basin Duvernay shale play by 123 per cent to 23,200 acres (36.25 sections).
Including drilling associated with acquisitions, 352 (16.6 net) wells were drilled on Freehold Royalties Ltd. royalty lands during the first nine months of 2017, a 172 per cent increase versus the same time period in 2016 (on a net basis).
Project delays in Canada and the U.S. caused some margin erosion for Enerflex Ltd. in the third quarter of 2017, but despite the delays the company saw net earnings of $25.2 million in the quarter, up from $17.6 million the previous year.
MATRRIX Energy Technologies Inc. is increasing its previously announced private placement of common shares from gross proceeds of approximately $7 million to gross proceeds of approximately $20 million.
