  1. Oil, Natural Gas Prices Lower In June

    June was a cruel month for Canadian oil and natural gas producers as prices for both commodities were down for the month amid continued volatility in the market, although natural gas prices were up from last year.

  2. Earth Science For Society Receives PromoScience Grant

    The Earth Science for Society (ESfS) committee has been awarded an NSERC/CRSNG PromoScience grant of $35,000 to allow for the development, enhancement and delivery of its annual geoscience outreach and education exhibition. 

  3. Canbriam Energy In C$100 Million Private Equity Investment

    Canbriam Energy Inc. has completed a US$74 million (approximately C$100 million) investment from its existing private equity sponsors which include Warburg Pincus, ARC Financial, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, BlackRock and State Street (formerly GE Capital).

  4. Pembina Places $2.8 Billion Of Integrated Assets Into Service

    Pembina Pipeline Corporation has placed approximately $2.8 billion of integrated capital projects into service, including its Phase III pipeline expansion and two connected major delivery points: the company's third fractionator at Redwater (RFS III) and its Canadian Diluent Hub (CDH).

  5. Perpetual Borrowing Capacity Increased

    Perpetual Energy Inc. has entered into a new reserve-based credit facility agreement which increases the borrowing capacity available to $40 million from the previous $20 million.
