  2. 40-Year Export Licence Issued To Woodfibre LNG

    While speaking at the Canadian Embassy in China today, the Jim Carr, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources, announced that the Government of Canada has approved a 40-year natural gas export licence to Woodfibre LNG Limited for its proposed facility in Squamish, British Columbia.

  3. TransCanada Completes Sale Of U.S. Northeast Power Assets

    TransCanada Corporation has completed the sale of its remaining U.S. Northeast merchant power generation assets to Helix Generation, LLC, an affiliate of LS Power Equity Advisors, for approximately US$2.1 billion including a purchase price adjustment as a result of an unplanned outage at Ravenswood prior to close.

  4. Sunshine Oilsands Announces Proposed Issue Of New Shares

    On June 5, 2017, Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. entered into the subscription agreement with the subscriber Prime Union pursuant to which the subscriber has conditionally agreed to subscribe, and the corporation has conditionally agreed to allot and issue, an aggregate of 455,074,788 subscription shares at the subscription price of HK$0.234 (approximately C$0.041) per subscription share for an aggregate cash consideration of HK$106,487,500.4.
