    Calgary-based Renaissance Oil Corp. is receiving “some of the best prices in North America” for natural gas it’s producing in the southeastern Mexican state of Chiapas, says a company spokesperson, who says geography is the key for the company, since gas imports from the U.S. can’t compete with its production.

    The amount of cash raised by 68 U.S. oil and gas companies via a net issuance in new shares soared to a three-year high of US$19.4 billion in Q2 2016, according to Evaluate Energy’s new study focused on U.S. oil and gas company cash flow, which can be downloaded here.

    Niko Resources Ltd. has executed an agreement with subsidiaries of Diamond Offshore relating to the settlement of outstanding claims under drilling contracts and the Diamond Settlement Agreement executed in December 2013 (including related judgements granted by courts in Texas and Alberta), in compliance with the terms of the previously disclosed amended and restated facilities agreement.
