  2. The Top 10 Private Oil And Gas Companies In British Columbia

    Analysis using CanOils Assets shows that production from private operators in British Columbia has increased by 76% within one year, based on July production figures. In July 2016, private companies were the operators of just over 56,000 boe/d, compared to 32,000 boe/d a year earlier.

    InPlay Oil Corp., a private Alberta based light oil focused exploration and development company, and Anderson Energy Inc. have entered into an arrangement agreement for the combination of InPlay and Anderson to create a new, well-capitalized, high netback, Cardium focused producer.

    Shannon Stubbs, MP for Lakeland (Alberta), officially presented an e-petition in the House of Commons calling upon the federal government to vocally support the oil and gas industry, new pipelines across Canada, and hundreds of thousands of employed and unemployed oil workers, the Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors (CAODC) announced this morning.
