Guidance Reporting March 11- March 15:Pipeline delays, Alberta curtailment dealing double blow to new oilsands projects, expansions and spending plans The Alberta government said Monday it will continue to allow crude oil production, currently under temporary curtailments, to increase as the market responds and conditions change. Unfortunately, the recent Line 3 delay increases uncertainty about how long that curtailment order, and its impacts, will last. One immediate impact has been the slowdown in advancing new oilsands projects and phases. This week’s report includes guidance updates for Cequence, Journey, Oryx and Valeura. In addition, there is updated guidance for U.S.-based companies such as Northern Oil & Gas, Ultra, Halcon and Berry Petroleum. Take a free 14-day trial to access! |
