    There was an error in the July 15 Daily Oil Bulletin issue concerning a planned financing by Winstar Resources Ltd. The company has engaged First Associates Investments Inc. to act as agent for a $5 million to $7 million offering, not a $5.7 million offering as published in the DOB.

    The Saskatchewan landsale posting that was published in Thursday's Daily Oil Bulletin showed an incorrect date of March 26. The correct date for the landsale should have read April 8, 2003.

  • Correction: Cold Snap No Problem For Gas Storage

    Throughput of natural gas on the TransCanada PipeLines Limited mainline Jan. 23 was 7.0 bcf. Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. had daily distribution of between 2.3 and 3 bcf the week ending Jan. 25, which was nine per cent above the company's forecast volumes. Incorrect information appeared in the Jan. 29 edition of the DOB.

    The Petroleum Services Association of Canada, in its 2003 well forecast, estimates 5,815 wells will be drilled in southeastern Alberta during the year, not 5,185 as reported in the Daily Oil Bulletin Friday.

  • NEB Report Correction

    Straddle plant expansions are expected to add about 51,000 bbls per day of incremental capacity early in this decade under the National Energy Board draft supply-demand report. Mackenzie Delta would another 15,000 bbls per day in 2010 and a further 25,000 bbls a day with its expansion in 2015 in both the Supply Push and Techno-Vert scenarios.

  • Alberta Energy Corrects Winning Bid For Parcel B0435

    Alberta Energy advises of an error in its Jan. 8 notice of land sale results released to the public. On parcel B0435 the buyer is Standard Land Company Inc. and the bonus has been amended to $32,506.88 which amounts to $126.98 per hectare.

    The headline of the weekly chart published Jan. 3 was incorrect. The headline should read 14,563 wells completed in 2002. There were 17,508 development and exploratory well licences issued in 2002.

    An article on RSX Energy Inc. in Friday's Bulletin incorrectly put the company's proved-plus-probable reserves at an estimated 1.68 million BOE. The correct figure as of Oct.1, 2002, is 2.92 million BOE.

  • Kick Energy Correction

    Kick Energy Corporation turned a profit of $80,924 in the third quarter of this year, an improvement over a loss of $95,220 in last year's third quarter. Incorrect information appeared in the first paragraph of Monday's DOB, which said the company's earnings were down by more than half in this year's third quarter, compared to last year.

  • Western Oil Sands Correction

    Western Oil Sands Inc. has a 20% share in the Athabasca Oil Sands project, not 30% as stated in Thursday's Daily Oil Bulletin. Western's partners in the venture are Chevron Canada Resources (20%) and Shell Canada Limited (60%).
