SaskPower Carbon Capture Project Start Date Postponed; Cenovus Says Delay To Pose No Issues

Due to pipe-work completions still underway, SaskPower’s Boundary Dam Power Stationcarbon capture and storage project will not be ready in time for its April 1 start date, although the Crown corporation says the delay will only be temporary, and that the setback should not impede Cenovus Energy Inc.’s ongoing enhanced oil recovery efforts in southern Saskatchewan.
